Usher

Usher Raymond IV (Dallas (Texas), October 14, 1978) is an American R & B singer and actor. With the help of Sean Combs Usher rolled the R & B world and brought on the age of 15 his first album. Usher became world famous after his album My Way in 1997 and especially the Confessions album from 2004. Usher has also had supporting roles in several films.

Usher was born in 1978 as the son of Jonetta Patton and Usher Raymond I. At birth his parents still lived in Dallas but soon moved Usher, his brother James and his mother to Chattanooga. There he was usually raised by his mother. At twelve the family moved to Atlanta.

Usher first came into contact with when he was singing in the choir could sing from his mother. After they landed in Atlanta, Usher began participating in talent shows that he almost always won. In 1992 his talent was recognized by Bryant Reid, brother of LaFace Records co-president Antonio Reid. Bryant arranged an audition for Usher he successfully took off. Usher signed to LaFace Records and was beginning his first album. Before the time came, he brought in 1993 (at the age of 14) his first single. The single, Call Me A Mack, is on the soundtrack of the film Poetic Justice. [1]

In 1994, when Usher was at school, was the debut album from Usher. The production of the album was accompanied by some problems: Usher got the beard in the throat and various voice coaches had it come in handy to help him. The album was mainly produced by Sean Combs (then Puff Daddy). In the United States were the singles and the album was received quite a 100,000 times over the counter. After 1994 Usher asked for several other projects. 

In 1995 he recorded a Christmas song for an advertising campaign for Coca-Cola. Together with other R & B singer Usher took the single You Will Know on the Jason's Lyric soundtrack. With R & B singer Monica sang the single Let's Straighten It Out. [2] In the meantime, Usher familiar with the other side of the hip world. Combs Usher introduced despite his young age to illegal drugs and sexual relationships. Later Usher regret here and there were rumors that Usher Combs held responsible. Usher After graduating high school for his diploma, he released his second album My Way out. This album was produced by Jermaine Dupri (So So Def Records) and has more work of Usher: he helped with the lyrics of six songs and also called for help from Babyface and Teddy Riley. In order to record the album Usher went for six months in the house of Dupri. 

The first single You Make Me Wanna became a worldwide hit. The subsequent singles and My Way Nice & Slow hitchhiked along on the success of the first single. For the promotion of the album Usher went on tour. With Combs went to the No Way Out tour, and he also opened for Mary J. Blige. Now Usher became a star he decided to focus on acting. He made his debut in the horror film The Faculty (1998). Usher just had a small role in the sitcom Moesha.

By many revolutions Usher decided a live album put together. This album was released in 1999. In 2000, Usher released a new album ready: All About U. This album was never released. That CD was the single Pop Ya Collar, which also added to the playlist Ushers real third studio album, 8701 (release date: 8/7/2001 Usher or the number of years running: 1987-2001). A year later, Usher won a Grammy Award in the category Best Male R & B Vocal. [4]

After a time in the shelter brings Usher in 2004 from the album Confessions. Accompanied with the album comes Yeah! from a single with Ludacris and Lil 'Jon. Yeah! (Mostly shot in nightclubs) put Usher in a blow back on the map. Confessions has sold 15 million albums worldwide and won a Grammy Award for Best R & B album. There is also a special edition of the album. This edition includes the single My Boo with Alicia Keys. Usher and Keys have known each other since their sixteenth.

In 2006, Usher's role in Bully Flynn in the Broadway musical Chicago. It is the debut of Usher in the theater. The plan was that he would play two months, but Usher stopped a few days earlier had when he became ill. After it became known that Usher would play in Chicago, grew the demand for tickets explosive. When his cancellation was announced, tickets were handed massive back what the production cost $ 400,000. [5]

In June 2008, the album Here I Stand, of which the single Love In This Club earned the number 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100. On March 30, 2010 appeared Ushers new album Raymond V. Raymond. Usher married on August 3, 2007 with his then girlfriend, stylist Tameka Foster. They had two sons in 2007 and 2008. In June 2009 they separated and the divorce was pending.

Usher's music is pop-oriented R & B. Some songs are ballads, other dance numbers. Often the lyrics about love, grief and relationships. Combined with his "cute" appearance, he is an idol for many people.
