Tanya Onika Maraj (Saint James, 8 december 1982), better known as Nicki Minaj is a Trinidadian rapper and singer who works from the U.S.. From 2004, three successful mixtapes out Minaj: Playtime Is Over, Sucka Free and Beam Me Up Scotty. The U.S. rapper Lil 'Wayne discovered her in 2009 and had her sign a record contract with his label Young Money Entertainment, a division of Motown.
He wished she was the newest face of Young Money. Minaj then brought in November 2010 from her debut album Pink Friday. The album debuted at second place in the American charts and achieved platinum status in America. In addition to this solo success Minaj is also known for its successful collaborations with other R & B artists including Trey Songz Bottoms Up and Check It Out with Will.I.Am.
Minaj was born in 1982 in Saint James, (a suburb of Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago). Her parents are of Indian and Afro-Trinidadian is coming.
