Carrie Underwood

Carrie Marie Underwood (born March 10, 1983 in Checotah, Oklahoma) is an American country music singer. Her career started in 2005 by winning the fourth season of U.S. talent show American Idol.

Underwood grew up as the third-youngest daughter of Stephen and paper mill worker, the teacher Carole Underwood on a farm in Checotah. As a member of the Free Will Baptist Church Underwood singing at an early age in church.

After high school graduation in 2001 went to Underwood, the Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In 2006 she successfully completed her studies with a bachelor's degree in communications and journalism.

On 25 May 2005 be put Underwood in the final of TV talent show American Idol to rock singer Bo Bice by. With the win a recording contract from Arista Records was connected. Underwood's third album Play On was the third in the U.S. November 2009 published. The first single from Underwood Cowboy Casanova was written Brett Hames and hip-hop producer Mike Elizondo.

Underwood sang on 7 February 2010 opening of the Super Bowl XLIV in Miami Dolphins SunLife stage of the American national anthem [1].

After her appearance at the Thanksgiving football game in 2006 at the stadium of the Dallas Cowboys Underwood was said to have a relationship with quarterback Tony Romo. Romo accompanied the singer on the CMA Awards, the two have never confirmed the relationship.

In August 2007, Underwood went into a relationship with the Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford series, and the two ended their relationship in the summer of 2008. Since October 2008 she is dating Mike Fisher, a hockey player in the Nashville Predators. They met, according to an interview by People magazine [2] at a concert in Toronto to know about mutual friends. Since December 2009, the couple is engaged.
