Katy Perry, artist name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (Santa Barbara, October 25, 1984) is an American pop singer-songwriter, guitarist and actress.
When Perry was still relatively unknown, she played in the video for Gym Class Heroes Cupid's Chokehold, the third girlfriend of singer Travie McCoy, whom she in real life also had a relationship. The second single, Teenage Dream, is also a great success worldwide with a number 1 hit in America. The third single is firework, the video came on 28 October 2010 and has a great message, this video is used for the project "It Gets Better" that promotes the rights of gay people.
Two days after the singer was married she changed her name to Katy Brand, or she with her artist name will do is still unknown. The fourth single was chosen E.T. For the next single was chosen for Last Friday Night (TGIF). On the cover of the single we see Katy dressed as a nerd with bracket. The video was released on 13 June where Katy Perry plays a nerd.
