Ellie Goulding


Ellie Goulding (born December 30, 1986 in Hereford, England, Elena Jane Goulding as [1]) is a British singer-songwriter.

 
Ellie Goulding was born in Hereford in the UK and grew up in Herefordshire. [2] She attended the University of Kent in their studies but dropped out after two years. She moved to London and appeared in British pubs. There she was discovered by Polydor and started in September 2009 under contract.

She released her debut single Under the Sheets once at a small independent label. Brought an appearance on Later with Jools Holland in October 2009, then her breakthrough. The single was not until the year ranked 53 in the UK charts, they also got the Brits Critics' Choice Award at the BRIT Awards as the most promising newcomer in 2010. [3] Also in the BBC Sound of 2010 list as it was favorite for 2010, called [4].

 
She released her debut album Lights in March 2010. It debuted at No. 1 on the UK album charts. Previously she had been with the pre-released single Starry Eyed a Top 5 hit. The song was also featured on the soundtrack to the comic book movie Kick-Ass and was used in the last episode of season one of Awkward. [5] On the B side of single lights is also an acoustic version of Only Girl ( In the World) singer Rihanna.

 In May 2010, Lena released on her debut album My Cassette Player of the song written by Ellie Goulding Not Following You, the song was titled album as Not Following on Lena. [6] She also gave her a song again in 2011, the Who'd Want To Find Love? means.

 
Published in November 2010 accompanied by Ellie Goulding Your own version of the classic song by Elton John just piano and string orchestra. This version reached in early December 2010 2 on the UK singles chart, making her best-placed single.

 
Currently she lives in a relationship with the American DJ and music producer Skrillex.
