Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift (Reading (Pennsylvania), December 13, 1989) is an American country singer, musician and actress. In the Netherlands, she was known by the single "Love Story". In Belgium however, was her first big hit "You Belong with Me".

Taylor was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, on a Christmas tree farm. She is the daughter of Andrea Gardner, a homemaker, and Scott Kingsley Swift, a stockbroker, and has a younger brother, Austin. Her grandmother, Marjorie Finlay, was an opera singer.

Then in the fourth grade Sat Swift won a national poetry contest with a three-page long poem "Monster in My Closet". When she was ten taught a computer repairman her three chords on guitar. Afterwards she wrote her first song, "Lucky You". At twelve, Swift spent a whole summer to write a 350-page novel, which never was released. She began writing songs regularly. Taylor's second studio album, "Fearless", was released in the United States on 11 November 2008. With 592,304 copies sold in its first week sales figures of this album higher than the sales figures in the opening week of any other album by a female artist in 2008. The first single from "Fearless", "Love Story" became a hit in both the country charts as the pophitlijsten. "Forever and Always," another song on that album, is based on her relationship with Joe Jonas.
