It was put on my heart to write a song that I thought could touch other people. I know that there have been times in my life where I have been flat on my back, and had several friends, Good Samaritians, and family members that helped get me back on my feet. With this song, that’s what we wanted to do. We took some real-life situations, and my co-writers, Noah Gordon and Jeremy Campbell got in a room, and it was very therapeutic for us to talk about that stuff, and we came up with the song.
